Bodybuilding Fat Loss Program

Fat loss is something that many people struggle the most with.  Currently, the market is flooded with fad diets and diet pills.  The reality is some of these diet pills and diet programs do work.  However, most of them will only leave you a little lighter in the wallet.  In this article I will outline what I am currently doing to do lose weight.  For me, this program has been successful so far.  Obviously, since everyone is different this program may or may not work for you but the general principles should hold true for most people.

Diet:

My diet is one that is moderately high in protein, low in carbs, and low-moderate in fat.  The following is what I will eat on any given day.

Meal 1:

Oatmeal (no sugar added)

Glass of water

Fruit (usually a few strawberries or an apple)

Meal 2:

Tuna on a bed of lettuce

Glass of water

Meal 3:

Protein shake in water

Meal 4:

Grilled Chicken

Rice

Salad

Meal 5:

Protein shake in water

Training Program:

I run for approximately 20 minutes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Monday:

Run 

Chest/Triceps

Tuesday:

Back/Biceps

Wednesday:

Run

Thursday:

Legs/Calves

Friday:

Shoulders/Abs

Saturday and Sunday:

 Rest

Overall Experience:

Generally the meals are eaten approximately 3 hour intervals apart.  Following this program I have lost about 20 pounds over the last 7 weeks.  If you incorporate cheat meals into your diet the progress may slow a little bit.  The first week of this diet program is the toughest.  The cravings for food may be tough to conquer.  But after a while your body and your mind will become used to eating less food and not eating junk food anymore and you will find that it will become much easier to stay on the diet.  Supplements such as Herbal Fat Melter are very valuable in suppressing the appetite.
